TAI "Inspiration"* (2008) is a compilation of 5 songs co-written by Eric Michael Cap & OR based BMI lyricist Willie Lowe. Featuring L.A. songstress Tai Lewis on vocals, this inspiring collection ranges in style from Gospel / Christian to Pop/R&B. The CD begins with the crossover ballads I Can't Get Enough of Loving You* and Look What Your Love Has Done To Me, before the upbeat Can't Face The Day Without You . The positive & uplifting Now & Forevermore and Somebody end the disc with a bang! All tracks were produced (music), recorded, mixed & mastered in Logic Studio (with Waves plugins) by Eric Michael Cap , including all keyboard & guitar parts.
TAI "Tunes" (2006) is a separate Promo CD which opens with the very hot Spread It All Over Me (in the vein of Beyonce). We then slow things down with the laid back R&B groove of Feelin' U Feelin' Me . In addition to touring with the GodFather of Soul, Laurice also appeared as his wife in Blues Brothers 2000. A 12" vinyl single "It's A Funky Thang" (Trk01) has also been released in the U.K./Europe & is receiving extensive Radio & Club play, while "Watching the City Come Alight" (Trk02) is a favourite album cut. Both discs can be purchased directly from the Honey Groove U.K. website, CDBaby, and now on iTunes.
